Surf Lessons
We teach longboard, short board, and stand-up paddle surfing. Our surf lessons are for all ages and all levels. We have taken 6-month-old babies and adults in their 70s out for their very first time! Check below for more info on what we offer!
Early Mornings on the North Shore
We begin our mornings with a coffee and a "surf check", and then we travel the North Shore from Haleiwa to Kahuku to find the best surf spots available that day for the level and safety of our students. By 7:00 AM we're usually unloading, setting up, and getting ready to enjoy a few waves for ourselves!
Beginner Lessons
Lessons offered are private, semi-private, and small group. All sessions are two hours. Safety is key and everyone gets lots of waves and attention.
Beginner lessons include:
- Top quality ST longboard (other board types available on request)
- Rash guard
- Pre-surf instruction on the beach
- World-class coaching by Uncle Bryan
Many students just join in on group classes, but beginner lessons can also be customized for you based on family or group size, student skill levels, and special needs. Give us a call and we can put together something that fits what you're looking for!
Advanced Levels
We also specialize in advanced techniques and contest strategies for more experienced and competitive surfers. Uncle Bryan has coached some of the world's top professional surfers, and our instructors are all highly experienced North Shore locals.
Photography and Video
We work with Heath Thompson of Waterlogged Video Productions to provide videos and photos for our students while they're out there on the water. Heath is a great photographer (most of the photos on this site were taken by him), and he specializes in making those memorable moments last forever!
